Bill
Grass is a 1997 graduate of LSU. He has a B.S. in Human Resource
Management, but he is currently a full time musician. He picked up the
fiddle at age 9 and has since moved on to guitar, accordion, bass, and many
others. Bill has also won several Louisiana State Fiddle Champion
titles. His guitar, fiddle, mandolin and vocals add a definite punch to
the band's sound. BillG@Choupique.com
Jesse
Brown began playing the accordion with the help of his "Paw Paw"
Eddie. His "Pop" helps with the French vocals as well as the
dance lessons. Jesse picked up the fiddle and mandolin along the way in
order to make the band more versatile. His on stage antics and stage
presence can make even the stiffest crowds lighten up and pass a good time.

Anglyn
Brown picked up the guitar along with Jesse in 1997. Mastering the classic
Cajun guitar style, she moved on
to more delicate sounds by picking out slow waltz tunes. Her blues style
is killer on the Creole numbers. Expect to hear Anglyn adding unique
feminine back up vocals, too. Anglyn@Choupique.com
Manny
has played a variety of musical styles since the age of 6 including Classical,
Bluegrass, Rock and Roll, Ragtime, and of course Cajun and Zydeco. You
can now see Manny performing on the bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and possibly
even the accordion. When asked what he liked most about Cajun music his
answer was, " . . . Soul!" Manny@Choupique.com
Warren
Thomassie, a lefty drummer, keeps the band's beat together. Not only can
he keep the rhythm strong on a cookin' two step or tender waltz, but his vocals
come in handy both on the lead and the back up. A combination drummer and
crowd control, Warren is the link between
all of Choupique's members; he is the glue that holds the band together.
